Lavenham Priory is a remarkable Grade 1 listed, medieval half-timbered house dating from the 13th Century set in 3 acres of picturesque grounds in the heart of the beautiful and quaint Suffolk village of Lavenham. It has fantastic grounds, an historic herb garden, a well, an underground culvert, amazing fire places and all sorts of historic and interesting nooks and crannies. You can share in its history by staying at Lavenham Priory – which offers luxury self-catering accommodation in one of two adjoining cottages which are ideal for either a couple (sitting room, bedroom and bathroom) OR families / groups (an entire 3 bedroom house sleeping up to 6).

Getting to us is easy. We are 90 minutes from London by train and can make arrangements for a taxi to collect you from either of the local stations (Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds are 15 minutes away). A car is not essential as so many of the attractions are literally on your door step.
